Then I feel a hand on my back. I flinch away harder than I thought possible. Then the girl is picking me up, guiding me somewhere. My eyes remain tightly closed, but now it is because I want them to be. I will not give her the satisfaction of opening my eyes.

The glasses didn't come out right, I would've liked them more if they were half rimmed, something like this: [link] but it is not all that important, feel free to do as you see fit
